Artists for Kids. - Local Exhibition.

For those of you on the North Shore or thinking of going over the Lions Gate this weekend, I recommend you check out a really great cause and a great exhibition put together by Artists for Kids.
This years annual spring exhibition is called “Artists as Photographer” the exhibition runs from April 16th to May 12th featuring a number of internationally and locally renown artists such as Rodney Graham, Michael Snow, Edward Burtynsky, Gordon Smith, Douglas Coupland, Gu Xiong, Karin Bubas and Irene F. Whittome.
The exhibition reveals exciting approaches to contemporary photography from Polaroids, enlargements and light-boxes to motion film. For those of you possibly crossing the water to visit the likes of Presentation House, to get your photographic fill this is a really nice added extra.
